    About Author:

Skornia Alison works as a social media analyst for an essay writing service. Due to her expertise in the field, she’s into exploring and analyzing trends and techniques on how digital social connectivity can be best put to use in diverse markets.

After Facebook, Twitter is a viral social media. It has helped several businesses grow. It has allowed the companies to reach out to the clients and the customers, but it requires a lot of practice to use this platform. Here are a few lessons learned by Entrepreneurs on how they can take advantage of this platform and run a successful marketing campaign. Let’s take a look:

    1.Do post a clear message

First appearances are remembered always. Firstly, make sure that your profile is built properly. It must tell everything about your company and the brand. Just take a look at the tweet to understand that it can lead to different interpretations. Think in events of the magnitude of the product, the number of publications that are made per minute can become overwhelming. Bet by a clear and simple message. You need to create message creatively otherwise it will lose all its effectiveness.

2.Do take advantage of opportunities quickly and show instead of saying

This is what IBM has made it clear that the capabilities and services to solve the problems that may arise to customers in a single tweet. Not every tweet goes viral, and sometimes a single tweet won’t be enough. Don’t get too much caught up thinking that your tweet is going to add value to the brand. Just go and grab the opportunities

3.Do find your tools and practices

Brands like Dolce & Gabbana know and did not hesitate to tweet the perching of celebrities who chose their designs to walk down the red carpet. The opposite is found in Versace waited until the next day to publish the photos on Twitter profile.

You can make effective use of social wall, in order to share your live event to the world on Twitter. It is an essential tool to get your visitors and customers involved on social media.

Your social wall on website will display content from your brand’s Twitter account. The content is pulled via #hashtags and connects your site visitors with real time happenings on Twitter.

Also, integrate social media hub on your website, so that you can connect your customers and visitors with your social media channels.  Your tweets on Twitter will be displayed on your website, which will convince visitors to stay and remain connected.

Create your brand awareness, market your social presence and maximize visitor’s engagement on your website by incorporating a social media hub on your website.

    4.Do make use of scheduling

Scheduling tweets is a good way to manage brand promotions. Avoid tweeting for things that might get changed or can be postponed. However, the shelf life of a posted tweet is short, so you need to tweet again and again to keep promoting your brand.

5.Don’t use over number of hash tags

We all know that one person who thinks that it’s better to hash tag every word. Trust me, this is not at all beneficial and shall not bring you anything. This will probably make you lose followers. Instead, pick one or two hash tags and use them frequently. This way your followers will also use them and create a trend.

    6.Don’t follow everyone

Many brands try to follow everyone thinking that those accounts shall follow you back. This is not the case every time, as some accounts are fake or spam as well. Try to reach out to those accounts that can help you develop good connections. Remember that you want to create valuable relationships, and you don’t need to connect with just anyone.

    7.Be respectful and patient

How you tweet and respond reflects the values of your company. If you are handling a company account, you need to stay focused and professional. Whatever comment or posts comes along following your posted tweet, needs to be handled calmly, as whatever you shall say will affect the reputation of your company.

From the above mentioned, it can be evaluated that Twitter is a valuable social tool to reach the people and increase brand awareness effectively when used correctly.  Of course, what you tweet depends on what you are marketing, but following a few tips is not bad after all. Twitter needs to be handled with a clear focus so that it fulfills its purpose. Think of your tweets as karma, follow a positive way and you will soon be able to reap the rewards.
